Sonia to attend swearing-in
ceremony of J&K govt

Election 2002 Congress president Sonia Gandhi is to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed as the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir on November two.

The People's Democratic Party and the Congress have come together to form the government in J&K.

"On the request of the coalition partners, Congress president has consented to attend the swearing in ceremony of the new government in Srinagar on November two," AICC media secretary Tom Vadakkan said on Monday.
