Omar should quit Union council
of ministers: Farooq

Election 2002 Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah on Thursday night suggested his son and National Conference president Omar Abdullah should quit the Union council of ministers and concentrate on strengthening the party in the state.

On whether he would play an active role at the Centre, Abdullah seemed unsure. Talking to 'Aaj Tak', he indicated that he may continue to play an active role in state politics.
