45 ministers take oath in Hindi, 25 prefer English

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and 44 other ministers took their oaths of office and secrecy in Hindi today.

Of the 26 Cabinet ministers, seven took the oath in English, while five of the seven ministers of state with independent charge preferred English. Thirteen of the 27 ministers of state took the oath in English.
