The Institute of Rural Management at Anand is an autonomous institution dedicated to the professional management of rural organisations. It was founded at the initiative of the National Dairy Development Board and, with the support of a few institutions and the Government of India, works closely with co-operatives, NGOs, governments, national and international agencies.
The site is simple, with opening links to a comprehensive site map, various institute activities, facilities, the faculty and a competent search service. Now recognised as a premier centre for research and training in rural management, IRMA distinguishes itself as a management institute with a rule of working for the development of rural people. Keeping with this mission, the academic programmes offered cover Rural Management, Management Development, and programmes for voluntary agencies and agribusiness co-operatives. |
