    One of the most popular push services on the Web, it works in the background while you are connected, going to web sites and downloading info based on the parameters specified by you. Content can be displayed as a flash, wallpaper or screensaver and also as ticker or 'announcer'. A ticker shows headlines in a scrolling format and an announcer is a movable display on the desktop that shows headlines and summaries.

    You can subscribe to one or more of the 50 channels categorised into news, weather, sports, entertainment, education and so on. Within each category you have several options like FoxWorld kid stuff, C-Net technology news, Yahoo news and even a joke of the day. The headlines appear in the viewer window, with options for graphics and multimedia. You can indicate to the program how often you want updates.

    You can easily publish or subscribe to an unlimited number (more than 200) of customisable channels. Subscribers simply select the info they want, and, when changes occur, they are notified and view multimedia content right on their browser. You can select from sports news, music previews, entertainment and religious discourses.

    Gives you instant notification of breaking news. If you're connected, News Alert flashes the Alert icon in your toolbar when news breaks. You click on the icon for the headlines. You can also select the topics and keywords of your interest. An e-mail service, Personal NewsLink, is also available.

    This is a collection of screensavers that brings news and info from many reliable sources on the Web directly to your desktop. Sources such as DBC Financial News, E! Online, USA Today and ZDNet. You can customise the news and indicate how often you want it updated.
