It is no secret that Team India's ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja loves horses. He has three at his farmhouse, located nearly 30 kilometres from Jamnagar.

Every time he returns from playing duties he spends most of his time riding his mounts, Kesar, Dhanraj and Ganga.

The former, a mare, recently gave birth to Veer.

An animal lover, the left-hander has over the last few years also brought home rabbits, pigeons, fish and dogs.

"Ganga is Kathiawadi and Kesar is a Marwari and Kathiawadi [breeds]mix. Ganga has inwardly pointed ears that touch each other. That is how you identify a Kathiawadi horse," Jadeja was quoted as saying by The Indian Express last year.

"Kesar is Cheteshwar Pujara. She works a lot and is very calm. Ganga is like the naughtiest cricketer in the Indian team," he added.
