Cricket is no longer a gentleman's game, it seems! Today, more and more women are coming forward in a bid to leave their mark on the gme.

Mandira Bedi started the trend by hosting the 2003 World Cup, where she stunned one and all with her wardrobe. More recently, some women have shed their clothes in the name of cricket for the sake of publicity.

Poonam Pandey promised to strip naked if India won the World Cup last year, but then did a turnaround before finally posing nude after Kolkata Knight Riders won the Indian Premier League this year.

The list also features hot new anchors of the IPL -- Archana Vijaya and Shibani Dandekar -- and Nupur Mehta, whose name recently cropped up in alleged match-fixing controversies.

Poonam Pandey has made it a habit of celebrating India's victories in her own unique style: taking off her clothes!

She hogged the limelight during India's World Cup-winning campaign last year, as she started uploading her naughty pictures on a social networking website.

Nupur Mehta


Nupur Mehta started her career with a couple of Bollywood movies before doing the disappearing act to set up her own business.

She was recently in the headlines after a British newspaper accused her of being used by bookies as honey trap to lure cricketers into match-fixing, an allegation she denies firmly.

However, the publicity has ensured her a second innings in Bollywood what with a few movies reportedly being lined-up for her.

Archana Vijaya


Archana Vijaya started off as a model before hosting cricket shows for Neo Sports.

Now, since anchoring the Extraa Innings - T20 show in the last two seasons of the IPL on Sony Max she's become a hit.

Currently, she is participating in reality dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as a participant.

Mandira Bedi was the original cricket babe of Indian cricket.

She became a rage worldwide after turning out in a sexy sari avtaar while hosting the pre-match and post-match shows during the 2003 World Cup.

She also featured in television serials and acted in a few movies.Cricket, though, brought her into the limelight.

Rozlyn Khan


Rozlyn Khan is another wannabe who tried to garner publicity by shedding clothes in the name of cricket.

Rozlyn stripped for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his IPL team Chennai Super Kings despite them losing in the final of the Twenty20 tournament this year.

Shonali Nagrani


Shonali Nagrani was a film actress and model before she also took up to hosting cricket shows during the Twenty20 World Cup in 2010 and IPL.

Shibani Dandekar


Shibani Dandekar became popular among the country's cricket fans because of her lovely looks and unique style of hosting in the last two editions of the IPL.

Previously, part of a rockband back home in Australia, she appeared in a few commercials and is now showcasing her dancing skills in a reality dance show.

Anusha Dandekar


Liker her elder sister, Anusha Dandekar also tried her hand at hosting IPL matches and did well at it.

She made her acting debut in Bollywood with Mumbai Matinee, before doing Viruddh.

She has tried everything from acting to hosting shows for a music channel before taking up singing. 

Recently, she released her first international single Better Than Your Ex.

Mayanti Langer


Mayanti Langer is one of the most knowledgable sports anchors in the country and, perhaps, the only woman to host football shows and discuss details about Indian football.

She also hosted the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi where she again impressed and was at the Cricket World Cup last year.

Lekha Washington


Lekha Washington starred as the anchor in the inaugural season of the IPL in 2008 before heading south to take up acting in movies again.

She has also done some exhibitions as a sculptor last year.
