It happened against all odds; England's mammoth 10-wicket win over Team India at the Wankhede.

The result, the visitors' first win in India in six years -- the last having also come at the Wankhede in 2006 -- helped them level the series, following the defeat in the opener in Motera.

Besides, it made sure they nullified any hopes the home team had of a clean sweep, following the debacle in the corresponding series in England last August.

It is palpable to believe that the visitors will head into the third Test, starting Wednesday at the Eden Gardens, as favourites.

However, not if you are Alastair Cook. England's captain won't buy the argument that the momentum is with his team.

"Not really," he says, before proceeding to support his point with valid reasoning.

"After the opening Test the momentum was with India," explained Cook, adding, "But we managed to bounce back."

He does admit, though, that the win boosted his team's morale considerably. At the same time, he says there is no room for complacency whatsoever.

"It (the win) has given us a lot of confidence regarding what we are doing," says Cook, adding, "But that doesn't mean it will do anything when it comes to this game.

"To win this Test we will need a few stand out performances.

"In Mumbai, we had four outstanding efforts, and we won. Something similar is required here in Kolkata."
