New Zealand opener Martin Guptill has credited his side's unbeaten run in the ongoing World Twenty20 to the fun-loving approach which they have been following in the shortest format of the game.

New Zealand, have been, by far the most consistent performers in the going tournament, securing a berth in the semi-finals after their consecutive wins over India, Australia and Pakistan.

Guptill said that they have got the mindset of being aggressive and just going out and having a bit of fun on the field.

He, however, insisted that they have to follow that approach and back themselves to the best of their abilities to remain unbeaten in the Super 10 stage.

Reflecting his views on their last game's victory against Pakistan, the right-handed opener said that the bowlers did not bowl particularly well up front but were able to pull it back through some tight bowling and some good fielding.

The Kane Williamson-led side will next face Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens on March 26.
