According to News.com.au, Warne insisted West Indies to get Lara involved with the team in order to avoid further defeat.

Replying to Warne's request, Lara wrote on Twitter,"@ShaneWarne I would love to.... There is some hope in what I see.... Albeit it was a pretty good batting track."

Describing West Indies players as `passionate`, Warne admitted that the former side might be quite hurt by the loss and, therefore, insisted them to turn into a stronger side.

On Saturday, Australia had displayed their complete superiority over West Indies by thrashing the tourists by an innings and 212 runs on day three of the first Test.

West Indies, who are currently trailing 0-1 in the three-match series, had last claimed a Test victory in Australia in 1997.
