Fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has been ruled out of Bangladesh A's tour of India after sustaining a side strain in their crushing 96-run loss to India ‘A’ in the first of the three-match ODI series.

Taskin will be replaced by rookie pacer Kamrul Islam Rabbi, who will be joining the squad at the earliest.

Taskin bowled only spell of five overs taking 1 for 46 in the process. He did come to bat as Bangladesh ’A’ struggled in their 323-run chase but was adjudged leg before off Gurkeerat. He was the last man to fall as India ‘A’ won the match by 96 runs.

Rabbi, is a 23-year-old right-arm pacer who has 15 wickets from 11 List A matches in the 2014-15 season and 21 first-class wickets at an average of 54.47.
