Team India is chasing a 45-year-old record at Eden Park tow in the opening Test. West Indies' 348 for five at Auckland in February 1969
is the highest successful chase in the fourth innings of a Test match in New Zealand.

Statistical highlight of day three of the opening Test match between India and New Zealand in Auckland on Saturday. 

# New Zealand (105) have posted their fourth lowest total against India - their lowest Test total is 94 at Hamilton in the 2002-03 Test.

# New Zealand's lowest total vs India at Auckland is 101 off 61.4 overs in March 1968. 

# Test cricket's lowest ever total is registered at Auckland - 26 off 27 overs by New Zealand vs England in March 1955.

# India, while batting second, have conceded a first innings lead of 301, their second highest to New Zealand. They conceded a first innings lead of 314 in the 2008-09 drawn Napier Test. The scores were New Zealand (619-9 wickets declared) & India (305 & 476-4).
