Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh has led Team India to many a memorable victory in the past.

Can anyone forget his consistent contributions to India’s triumph at the 2007 World T20 Championship in South Africa and, four years later, at the 2011 50-over World Cup?

However, the big-hitting Punjabi seems to have lost some of his sting. Apart from his contribution in the match against Australia, Yuvraj barely got going at the just-concluded World T20 in Bangladesh.

To put it bluntly, he saved his worst for last!

On Sunday, in the final against Sri Lanka, he took an eternity to score his runs, struggling to compile 11 off 21 balls.

The last four overs produced only 19 runs due to his inability to come up with the big shots.

Now, many are saying his poor showing cost India the match.
