Rohit leads Mumbai vs KKR
Rohit Sharma took over as the skipper of Mumbai Indians after regular captain Ricky Ponting dropped himself, for the IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders in Kollata, on Wednesday.
The start of the match was delayed by half an hour because of showers earlier in the day.
Johnson replaced Ponting, while Pragyan Ojha and Yuzvendra Chahal came into the team in place of Munaf Patel and Jasprit Bumrah respectively.
Kolkata also brought in an additional spinner by including left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdulla.
Mumbai held their nerves in a close finish to win by five wickets with one ball to spare.
Yusuf gives KKR quickfire start
Yusuf Pathan gave KKR a quickfire start as he smashed Harbhajan Singh for three fours and a six from the first four deliveries in the first over of the match.
Gautam Gambhir lofted the fifth ball of that over for a six as Harbhajan was hit for 26 runs in the opening over of the innings.
Mitchell Johnson dismissed Pathan in the next over when he was caught at first slip by Harbhajan after scoring a quick 19 from six balls.
Gambhir falls for 26
KKR captain Gautam Gambhir scored a fluent 26 from 20 balls before he was caught by Harbhajan off Pragyan Ojha.
He added 41 runs for the second wicket with veteran Jacques Kallis.

Ojha then claimed another key wicket when he got Kallis caught in the covers by Rohit after he had made 37 from 28 balls.
Ojha emerged as the most successful bowler for Mumbai as he claimed two for 21 in four overs.
Morgan, Tiwary lift KKR to 159
Eoin Morgan provided the boost in the closing stages, hitting 31 from 25 balls with the help of four boundaries and a six.
Manoj Tiwary made 33 from 24 balls as the duo put on 48 runs for the fourth wicket to take Kolkata to 159 for six in their 20 overs.
Tendulkar fails on his birthday
Sachin Tendulkar failed with the bat on his 40th birthday as he was bowled for two by KKR mystery spinner Sunil Narine.
Narine bowled a flighted delivery which beat Tendulkar all ends up and broke through his defences to crash into the middle stump.
Another good outing with the ball for Narine
Narine was once again the star performer for Kolkata with the ball as he took three for 13 in four overs.
Dinesh Karthik also perished cheaply when he was dismissed leg before wicket by Sachithra Senanayake for seven.
Smith blasts half-century
Dwayne Smith, who came into the team in place of Ricky Ponting, repaid the faith shown on him with a match-winning half-century.
Smith was particularly harsh on the spinners as he smashed his way to a quickfire 62 from 45 balls, having hit three fours and five sixes.
Narine claims the key wicket of Smith
Smith's big hits helped Mumbai reach 79 for two after 10 overs to stay in touch with the asking rate with 81 needed from the last ten overs.
Dwayne perished to fellow West Indian Narine, when he was caught at long-off for, in the 11th over.
Pollard-Rohit partnership lifts Mumbai
Kieron Pollard hit 33 from 24 balls and Rohit made a fluent 34 from 28 balls as the duo helped Mumbai make good progress in the middle.
They put on 50 runs in five overs for the fourth wicket before Rohit was caught and bowled by Narine.
Mumbai needed 10 runs from the final over but Pollard fell off the first ball when he was caught at long-off by Manoj Tiwary off Rajat Bhatia.
Harbhajan, Rayudu take Mumbai to victory
With nine needed from four balls, Harbhajan turned the tide in Mumbai's favour as he heaved Rajat Bhatia over midwicket for a six.
Rayudu lofted the fifth ball over the cover region for a boundary to take his team to victory.
Mumbai won the match by five wickets with just one ball to spare.
