Chennai Super Kings' captain MS Dhoni receives a memento marking his 100th IPL match

When Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians met in Dubai on Friday, their skippers, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma covered a unique milestone.

Both played their 100th IPL match.

Now the two India teammates are tied on 100 in the list of those who have played most matches in the history of cash-rich Twenty 20 league that is in its seventh season.

Chennai Super Kings’ Suresh Raina, with 103 matches to his name, heads the list.

Others in it (till the conclusion of Friday’s Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Suoer Kings match) are: Dinesh Karthik (97 matches), Virat Kohli (96), S Badrinath (95), Yusuf Pathan (94), Robin Uthappa (94), Jacques Kallis (93) and Gautam Gambhir (91).
