Ian Bishop's eight players to watch in England

Former West Indies bowling ace Ian Bishop picks four players to watch out for from either side in the upcoming England-India Test series. By arrangement with Quba Media Works.

He will want to sign off with his hundredth hundred and a big series on his final tour of England. Pressure of that achievement could be a weight as much as he has tries to downplay it.

Cunning and skillful, and the leader of the attack. Swings and seams the ball cleverly and knows when to change up his pace. Needs to stay fit and hit form straight quickly.

Got into the groove slowly in the Caribbean, but scores tough runs. A big series usually brings the best out of him. Hasn't played Test cricket in England for some time, so let's see how he goes in this series. His stint with Lancashire in 2009 may be a huge plus.

He looked comfortable in the West Indies. I hope he has a breakthrough Test tour. First Test tours for batsmen in England can be challenging, because of the swing and seam available at times.

His height and accuracy make him a potent weapon. His form and self-belief are good right now. If he is put under early pressure by a good batting unit it will be interesting to see if he fades away.

Best finger spinner in the world at the moment, and good enough even against a team that plays spin well.

He is lovely to watch and is a good player of spin and seam. I feel he will have a good series again, as he has been in terrific form over the last couple of seasons.

Time for the skipper to lead from the front again. He should be charged up after his lean run against Sri Lanka.
