Former India-England captains honoured on occasion of centenary Test

To mark the occasion of the hundredth Test match between India and England, the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) played host to a string of legendary cricketers including Ian Botham, Sunil Gavaskar among others on Sunday.

The formers captains were honoured at the Lord's cricket ground, in the lunch break during the fourth day's play of the first Test between India and England.

Other ex-captains honoured on the occasion were Donald Carr (the oldest living England captain), David Gower (the last England skipper to win a series in India), Geoffrey Boycott, Graham Gooch, Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain and Michael Vaughan.

All the captains were presented with a momento -- a commemorative cap, embroidered with gold tassels and piping. It was a great time for bonding for the former captains on the memorable occasion.
