Misbah though feels there was nothing wrong with the technology and it has won the approval of most teams and players.
"The cost and technology issues can be worked out but that can only be done if it is used on regular basis and backed by all boards," he pointed out.
Meanwhile, asked about the continued suspension of bilateral cricketing ties between India and Pakistan, Misbah said this was something the governments and authorities needed to sort out.
"As a player I only know that for me an Indo-Pak series is always special and there are millions of people in both countries eager to see the teams play against each other regularly. I know that due to the current status quo millions of cricket fans are being deprived of some high class cricket contests, which also boost the image of the sport," he said.
