Shubman Gill continued his dream run with the bat as he smashed the highest score by an Indian in T20 Internationals, in the third and final T20 International against New Zealand in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

Gill smashed his way to a brilliant 126 not out from just 63 balls, hitting 12 fours and seven sixes.

Previously, the highest score in T20I by an Indian batter was by Virat Kohli, who had smashed 122 not out against Afghanistan during the Asia Cup last year in September.

At the age of 23 years and 146 days, Gill is the youngest batter to have hit a century in all three formats in international cricket.

He is also the fifth Indian batter to have scored a century in all three formats after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli.
