After a comfortable six wicket victory against New Zealand in the second ODI in Pune on Wednesday, October 25, a confident India will want to continue that winning momentum in the final game in Kanpur.

Upset by a shocking loss in the first ODI in Mumbai, India came back strongly in the second match to underline their superiority over the Kiwis.

While pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/45) and Jaspreet Bumrah (2/38) did the early damage, spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel never let the New Zealand total get out of hand.

Rohit Sharma (7) failed again, but Shikhar Dhawan ensured that India were always ahead in the run chase with a solid 68.

Comeback man Dinesh Karthik made most of batting at No 4 with an unbeaten 64 to take India home.

Kedar Jadhav -- who strangely didn't get a bowl in the Mumbai game -- didn't get a chance to bat, but showed his utility with the ball as he bowled eight economical overs for 31 runs/

After such a convincing victory, India may retain this winning combination for the Kanpur game.
