Select India's 11 for the WT20 match vs Pakistan

March 21, 2014 08:05 IST

Team IndiaTeam India had a poor run of form in recent outings. The back-to-back humiliation in South Africa and New Zealand was followed by an equally dismal early exit from the Asia Cup, in seemingly favourable conditions.

As such, the World T20 assumes importance. More so, because after winning the inaugural edition in 2007, India failed to get past the Super Eights in the three subsequent editions of the tournament.

In their opening match, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men take on arch-rivals Pakistan, who they lost to in the recent Asia Cup.

The team selection, therefore, becomes all the more important, especially when it comes to bowling.

Should pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar be persisted with? Or should Mohit Sharma be given a chance?

Should all-rounders Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh, the hero of the 2007 triumph, get a look in?

Should spinner Amit Mishra be included?

Dhoni and the team management face a difficult task of picking the right combination.

You can help them by donning the selector's hat and picking the best possible eleven to take on the might of Pakistan on Friday.
