India third in Test rankings

India moved up two places to third in the LG International Cricket Council's Test rankings following their series win in England.

India won the three-match series 1-0 after the final Test at The Oval was drawn on Monday.

Rahul Dravid's side drew the opening Test at Lord's and won by seven wickets at Trent Bridge.

They became the first India team to win a Test series in England for 21 years, emulating Kapil Dev's side in 1986.

England, who lost a first series at home since 2001, maintained second place behind Australia.
