The first day of the three-day match between India ‘A’ and New Zealand ‘A’ at the Port Stadium in Visakhapatnam was called off due to heavy rain, on Wednesday.
Officials announced the cancellation of the day's play as thunderstorms lashed the venue, making it impossible to start the game.
"Today's match is not possible due to water logging in the ground," officials said, adding the match will start on Thursday.
Visakhapatnam city and surrounding areas have been experiencing heavy rain since early Wednesday morning.
