Wicketkeeper-batsman Dishant Yagnik hit an unbeaten half-century to help Rajasthan reach 478 in their first innings but Mumbai made a strong reply finishing Day 2 at 76 for no loss in their Group 'A' Ranji Trophy match in Jaipur.

Kaustubh Pawar (26) and Aditya Tare (43) were at the crease keeping their team in contention when umpires called off the day at the KL Saini stadium at Mansarovar.

Earlier Rajasthan resumed their essay at the overnight score of 269 for 2 but lost Vineet Saxena only a run later.

It was a valiant unbeaten half century by Dishant who hit 76 off 123 balls containing 13 boundaries to help Rajasthan reach 478. Down the order Pankaj Singh too contributed with valuable 18 runs to help his team's cause.
