West Indies fast bowler Jermaine Lawson will be allowed to continue bowling in international cricket after he was reported for a suspect bowling action.
International Cricket Council (ICC) general manager David Richardson said on Friday a laboratory analysis of Lawson's action showed his elbow flexation was less than the maximum 15 percent allowed.
"The findings of the report mean that Jermaine can continue to bowl in international cricket," Richardson said.
"It is important to be aware, however, that no bowler is ever 'cleared' as they could simply return to bad habits."
Lawson was reported by match officials after taking eight wickets in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo in July.
