Kumble is Bangalore's top wicket-taker

Following are the statistical highlights of the Indian Premier League's semi-final between Chennai Super Kings and Bangalore Royal Challengers.

# Despite not claiming a single wicket in the semi-final, Anil Kumble is still the top wicket-taker for Bangalore in the IPL 2009, scalping 17 at 19.47 runs apiece.

# Jacques Kallis heads the batting table for Bangalore in the IPL 2009, aggregating 346 at an average of 28.83, including three fifties.

# Manish Pandey, with his outstanding knock of 48 off 35 balls, heads the batting averages in the IPL 2009 --  164 uns at an average of 164.00, including one hundred in four matches.

# The 72-run third wicket stand between Rahul Dravid and Pandey has turned out to be their highest partnership against Chennai, obliterating the 25 between Ross Taylor and Jacques Kallis at Bangalore last year.

# With 572 runs (ave. 52.00) in 12 games, Matthew Hayden has top-scored in the competition so far. His overall tally of 761 (ave.54.35) in 16 matches, including seven fifties, is exceeded only by Adam Gilchrist (931), Suresh Raina (855) and Gautam Gambhir (820).

# Bangalore Royal Challengers' six-wicket win is their third out of five contested against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. The victory is their biggest ever over Chennai.
