Board of Control for Cricket in India president Shashank Manohar on Tuesday took over as the International Cricket Council replacing his predecessor Narayanswami Srinivasan, while the BCCI's rules conflict of interest were unanimously approved by the members.

Manohar replaces Srinivasan at ICC:
- Shashank Manohar will be the BCCI representative at the ICC. In his absence, Sharad Pawar will represent BCCI as an alternate.
Conflict of interest rules approved by BCCI members
- The BCCI rules on conflict of interest were approved. All complaints regarding conflict of interest will be referred to Ombudsman (an independent authority appointed by the general body of the board). The Board appointed Justice A P Shah, who is a former chief justice, as the Ombudsman to look into matters pertaining to conflict of interest. The amendments proposed to the rules and regulations of the BCCI were approved unanimously.
Six new Test venues approved:
- Six new venues were approved as Test venues with BCCI looking to take Test cricket to smaller centres. The following venues have been approved for hosting Test matches:
1. Maharashtra Cricket Association's International Stadium at Pune.
2. Saurashtra Cricket Association's Stadium at Rajkot.
3. Andhra Cricket Association's Stadium at Vizag.
4. Himanchal Pradesh Cricket Association's Stadium at Dharamsala.
5. Madhya Pradesh Cricklet Association's Holkar Stadium at Indore.
6. Jharkhand State Cricket Association's Stadium at Ranchi.
New selectors:
- Former India players M S K Prasad and Gagan Khoda were named as new members of the selection committee replacing Roger Binny and Rajinder Singh from the South and Central Zone respectively. Former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad takes over as chairman of the Junior Selection Committee.
Multiple roles for Ganguly:
- Sourav Ganguly was named chairman the BCCI's technical committee, replacing Anil Kumble.
- Ganguly also found a place in the revamped Indian Premier League's Governing Council comprising of Rajeev Shukla (chairman), M P Pandove, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Ajay Shirke.
BCCI not given up on Pakistan series yet:
To play against Pakistan we need to get the government's permission. So we need to speak to the government and whatever decision the government takes the BCCI will decide accordingly.
