Stats: Kallis receives 9th man of the match award in IPL

Statistical highlights of the Indian Premier League match played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders in Ranchi on Sunday.

# Chris Gayle became the leading run-getter at the IPL 6 -- his tally being 603 at an average of 60.30 in 14 matches.

# Gayle became the first batsman to make 600 runs or more in three separate IPL seasons -- 733 in 2012; 608 in 2011 and 603 in 2013.

# Jacques Kallis (41) equalled his highest score in the current tournament.  He had scored 41 off 27 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad at EdenGardens on April 14.

# Kallis (41 + 2/17) got his ninth Man of the Match award at the IPL for his all-round feat.

# Both Royal Challegers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders won six games each out of twelve played at the IPL.

# Bangalore's 115 for 9 was their lowest total in the present competition. The said score is their second lowest against Kolkata, next only to the 82 at Bangalore in the first IPL season.

# Sunil Narine (22 at an average of 14.22 in 14 matches) recorded his second best performance in an IPL season, next only to the 24 at 13.50 runs apiece in 15 games in 2012.

# Narine became the first bowler to capture four wickets in an innings twice in the current competition. He was also the first bowler to bag four wickets or more in an innings four times in the IPL.

# Vinay Kumar took 22 wickets at 20.36 runs apiece in 14 games -- the most by a RCB bowler in an IPL season.

# Narine reached 100 wickets (ave.15.58) in 77 games in Twenty20.

# Manoj Tiwary's tally of 10 catches is the second highest after Dwayne Bravo (12) at the IPL 2013.
