# Patel's fourth fifty at the IPL was his third against Punjab. His previous highest was 57 against Punjab at Chepauk, Chennai on March 21, 2010.

# Patel’s record against Punjab is reasonably good -- 251 in eight innings at an average of 35.85. He received his first Man of the Match award at the IPL.

# Sunrisers Hyderabad's 30-run victory was their second against Punjab at the IPL. It was their biggest in terms of runs in the IPL.

# Darren Sammy (4/22) became the second Sunrisers Hyderabad player to record four wickets in an innings at the IPL. Amit Mishra had figures of 4 for 19 against Pune Warriors in Pune on April 17, 2013.

# Sammy's excellent figures were his best at the IPL.

# Dale Steyn has bowled most dot balls (160) at the IPL 2013.
