IPL PHOTOS: KKR shine as SRK clan cheer from the stands

When Kolkata Knight Riders surpassed the Mumbai Indians' total to register an emphatic seven-wicket win in the opening match of Indian Premier League, Season 8, there was lots of cheering going on in the stands.

The most animated section of the stadium was the VIP box as KKR’s owner and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and his sons increased the decibel at the Eden Gardens by many levels.

While SRK did his thing by prodding the crowd to cheer the defending champs, his eldest son, Aryan, watched with rapt attention as Gautam Gambhir and his band of boys tore apart the Mumbai Indians' bowling.

AbRam, SRK’s youngest son, probably didn’t understand what was happening around, but seemed to enjoy the attention he received from friends in the stands.

The adorable AbRam, who sports the same hairstyle as his iconic dad, played in the stands as SRK enjoyed all the mid-pitch action.

Shah Rukh Khan was also seen in deep discussion with newly-appointed IPL Governing Council chairman Rajiv Shukla, who is enjoying a second term at the helm.

Shukla had quit the position in 2013, following the IPL spot-fixing scandal.
