Kings XI Punjab batsman Shaun Marsh has received an official warning and reprimand for breaching the VIVO Indian Premier League Code of Conduct during his team's match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Marsh admitted the Level 1 offence (Article 2.1.8) of abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a match.

Fellow Australian and Kings XI teammate Glenn Maxwell was also fined for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the same match.

"Maxwell admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.8) of abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a match and accepted the sanction of a fine of 25 per cent of his match fee," a statement from the organisers said.

For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the match referee's decision is final and binding.
