Statistical highlights of the Indian Premier League match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. 

# Chennai Super Kings registered their biggest win over Bangalore in terms of wickets, bettering the five-wicket win at Chennai on March 31, 2011. 

# Chennai's tally of 36 wins is the most by a team in the IPL (Lost 24 and Tied 1) out of 61 played. 

# Bangalore have won 30 and lost 30 out of 60 contested in the IPL.

# Bangalore (175 for four) posted their highest total against Chennai in the IPL, eclipsing the 171 for five at Bangalore on March 23, 2010. 

# Chris Gayle holds a record for most runs in the present competition, totalling 519 at an average of 74.14 in ten matches. 

# Gayle has most number of sixes (39) in IPL 4. 

# Virat Kohli has managed 1200 runs in the IPL, totalling 1232 at an average of 28.65 in 59 matches, including six fifties.

# R Ashwin (17), Doug Bollinger (16) and Albie Morkel (15) are three top wicket-takers for Chennai in the IPL 4. 

# Michael Hussey posted his first duck in IPL 4 - his second in Twenty20.

# Suresh Raina became the first batsman to total 1800 runs in IPL, aggregating 1805 at an average of 36.83 in 61  matches.

# Kohli's superb unbeaten 70 off 44 balls is the second highest for Bangalore against Chennai in the IPL - the highest being Chris Gayle's 75 at Bangalore on May 22, 2011. 

# Kohli (514 at an average of 51.40) became the third batsman to amass 500 runs or more in the IPL 4, joining Chris Gayle (519) and Shaun Marsh (504). 

# Ravichandran Ashwin is the leading wicket-taker for Chennai, taking 17 wickets at an average of 21.88 in 15 matches.
