32 Number of Tests Ravindra Jadeja took to reach his 150 wickets -- fewest for a left-arm bowler. Australia's Mitchell Johnson took 34 Tests to accomplish this feat.

26 Number of 5 wicket hauls taken by Ravichandran Ashwin.

With this he went ahead of Harbhajan Singh who has 25 such hauls against his name.

Now only Anil Kumble -- with 35 five-wicket hauls -- is ahead of Ashwin for India.

3 Number of 5 wicket hauls Ashwin has taken on Sri Lankan soil.

No other Indian bowler has taken a five-for in Sri Lankan more than once.

This was also the biggest first innings lead ever conceded by Sri Lanka beating the 419 run lead they conceded to Pakistan at Galle in 2000.

191 The partnership between Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis -- Sri Lanka's highest for any wicket following on.

Thilan Samaraweera and Angelo Mathews added 142 runs for the fifth wicket against South Africa at Cape Town in 2012.

This was also the highest partnership for a side following on in a Test played in the subcontinent after the Kolkata Test in 2001 where V V S Laxman and Rahul Dravid put on 376 runs for the fifth wicket after Australia enforced the follow on.

22 Years 184 days -- Kusal Mendis' age -- the youngest Sri Lankan batsman to score a hundred following on. Sanjeeva Ranatunga held the record previously.

3 Number of Test hundreds scored by Kusal Mendis -- the most by a Sri Lankan batsman before turning 23.

Arjuna Ranatunga, Aravinda de Silva and Mahela Jayawardene had scored two each.

15 Number of batsmen to score a hundred against India after their team had been forced to follow on.

Kusal Mendis is the first Sri Lankan to do so against India.

Hashan Tillakaratne's 80 at Bangalore in 1994 being the previous best such score.

Mendis is only the third to get out twice after scoring a hundred in the second innings.

South Africa's Percy Sherwell and Jimmy Sinclair are the other two to do so (in 1902 and 1907 respectively).
