Dravid-Tendulkar pair most successful in Tests

On the third day of the fourth and final Test between England and India at the Oval on Sunday, the Indian pair of Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar became the most successful batting pair in Test cricket during their partnership of 55 runs.

These two surpassed the run-tally of West Indian pair of Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes, who had aggregated 6482 runs in 148 innings. Dravid and Tendulkar already hold the world record of most century partnerships.
