September 20, 2011 09:59 IST

Rahul Dravid [ Images ] has signed off on an illustrious ODI career in 118th position in International Cricket Council [ Images ] (ICC [ Images ])'s Player Rankings after playing his first series in two years.

Rahul DravidDravid had scored 128 runs in the recently-concluded five-match series against England [ Images ], which earned him three places in the batting chart.

The former captain's low ranking is largely due to the fact that he didn't play ODI cricket since India's [ Images ] victory over the West Indies [ Images ] in a league match of the ICC Champions Trophy [ Images ] 2009 in South Africa [ Images ].

Dravid's 10,899 in 344 ODIs with 12 centuries and 83 half-centuries makes him the seventh highest run-getter in the history of ODI behind Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] (18,111), Ricky Ponting [ Images ] (13,602), Sanath Jayasuriya [ Images ] (13,430), Inzamam-ul-Haq [ Images ] (11,739), Sourav Ganguly [ Images ] (11,363) and Jacques Kallis [ Images ] (11,227).

During his career, the 38-year-old reached a highest-ranking of fifth after the Edgbaston ODI against England in August 2007 when he scored 56 in India's 42-run victory.

He had achieved his highest rating of 749 in May 2006 after his match-winning 105 against the West Indies at Sabina Park.
