Rahul Dravid became the oldest player to make Twenty20 International debut for a Test-playing country in the one-off T20 match between India and England.

Two players have made their debut at older age than Dravid, but they both are from Canada.

The previous record of being the oldest debutant in T20Is for a full member nation was held by West Indies' Floyd Reifer. Sachin Tendulkar held the previous Indian record at 33 years 221 days.
