West Indies captain Brian Lara and England fast bowler Simon Jones were fined half their match fees on Tuesday for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the second Test in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Lara was censured for showing dissent towards the umpires after they offered England the light on the third day, while Jones was reprimanded for his celebration after dismissing Ramnaresh Sarwan in the second innings before England's seven-wicket win.

Match referee Mike Procter said: "Simon pleaded guilty to a level one offence for bringing the game into disrepute.
"My feeling was that it was a bit more serious than a level one offence but I took on board what the umpires had to say and kept it at level one. He's been fined 50 percent of his match fee."
All Level 1 charges carry a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player's match fee and/or an official reprimand.
Both charges were laid by match umpires Daryl Harper and Billy Bowden.
Both captains had earlier played down the incident.
"I saw no problem with it," Lara said. "I spoke to Sars (Sarwan) and he said he (Jones) just shouted but didn't say anything.
"The guys work really hard out there and show a bit of passion. It's just a part of the game."
England captain Michael Vaughan agreed.
"People have to realise he's had 14 months out of the game," Vaughan said. "He gets a key wicket and he's probably celebrated a bit over the top but 14 months is a long time to wait for a wicket."
England lead the four-match series 2-0.
