Farewell Sachin... write a postcard to the batting icon

Sachin Tendulkar will retire from cricket after his landmark 200th Test against the West Indies in Mumbai from November 14 to 18.

In a career spanning 24 years, the run-machine has aggregated 15,837 runs, at an average of 53.86, from 198 appearances.

In 463 ODI matches, he scored a whopping 18,426 runs, at an average of 44.83.

He is the only batsman to score 100 international centuries -- 51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs.
