Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan, on Thursday, became India's leading run-getter in Champions Trophy during his innings against Bangladesh in the 2nd semi-final in Birmingham.

He went past Sourav Ganguly, who tallied 665 runs in the ICC tournament.

Dhawan's quick-fire innings was however brought to a grinding halt when he was caught at point off the bowling of Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza. He made 46 off 34 balls to give India a good start in partnership with Rohit Sharma.
