Premier Cricket League reinvents itself as corporate cricket league. The league is a Twenty20 cricket league with city-based corporate teams playing during weekends in a regular season every year.

T. Viswanatha Reddy, Founder and CEO, Viswam Sports Network, said "Corporate cricket is popular in India. So, the company has decided to reinvent PCL as a national corporate cricket league and offer the winner the Corporate India Championship Trophy."

The first season of Premier Cricket League (PCL) starts in January 2008. There are 6 teams from Hyderabad playing in the Hyderabad division and 6
teams from Mumbai playing in the Mumbai division. In the future, the league will expand to major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, etc.

Viswam Sports Network is a startup company based in Hyderabad, India. It was founded in January 2007. It is in the business of creating sports leagues, organizing sports events and selling sports content to television networks. A preliminary website is available at www.viswamsports.com.
