New Zealand under-19 clinched a 73-run series-levelling victory over India in the second Test at Carisbrook ground, Dunedin, Christchurch, on Tuesday.
Having reduced India to 222 for 9 by draw of stumps on Monday, Day 3 of the four-day match, a Kiwi victory was inevitable. The tourists could add just 10 runs before the last wicket fell.
Star performer Timothy Southee completed the formalities, dismissing D Kulkarni as the Indian second innings folded at 232.
Southee (6 for 56) finished with 11 wickets in the match, having claimed five in the first innings.
The series is now tied 1-1.
The teams go to Bert Sutcliffe Oval at Lincoln for the third Test, from February 2 to 5.
India had won the first Test at Bert Sutcliffe Oval.
India will also play three ODIs on February 7, 8 and 10, all at Bert Sutcliffe Oval.
