Kolkata Knight Riders [ Images ] captain Gautam Gambhir [ Images ] is hoping that the remaining group league matches produce favourable results so that his team can make it to the semi-finals of the Champions League [ Images ] Twenty20 [ Images ].

"It's always good to end up on a winning note. Now we have to wait for the results of the other matches," Gambhir said.

The India [ Images ] opener was all praise for his team's fielding and bowling. "We did field well and Lee and Balaji bowled exceptionally well," he said.

Warriors captain Johan Botha [ Images ] conceded that dropping both Gambhir and Kallis earlier on proved to be decisive.

"We didn't really field that way we should have. We have a match against Somerset left and we must do well against them," Botha said.

Man of the match Collin Ingram said, "It's always nice to contribute but I am really disappointed with the end result."
