Australian batsman Michael Hussey [ Images ] has returned home from the Champions League [ Images ] Twenty20 [ Images ] due to 'personal reasons' after his team was ousted from semifinal contention.
"Australian batsman Mike Hussey [ Images ] exited the Champions League Twenty20 over the weekend to return home to Perth for family reasons," media reports stated.
A Chennai Super Kings [ Images ] representative confirmed the 37-year-old West Australian had already left the tournament because of 'personal reasons'.
Chennai along with two other Indian Premier League [ Images ] franchises--Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai [ Images ] Indians--have crashed out of the tournament.
Delhi Daredevils [ Images ] are the only IPL franchise still in contention for going ahead.
Hussey played in Chennai's opening match against Sydney [ Images ] Sixers but missed the next two games.
