Khaled Mahmud to lead Bangladesh

Bangladesh announced a 15-man squad to face South Africa and India in the triangular one-day series in Dhaka next month

Former skipper Akram Khan, openers Javed Omar and Mehrab Hossain have all been recalled to the squad.

Omar and Hossain replace Al Sahariar and Hannan Sarkar, who played in the recent World Cup in southern Africa.

Bangladesh will face India on the opening day of the series, on April 11.

The squad: Khaled Mahmud (captain), Javed Omar, Mehrab Hossain, Mohammad Ashraful, Habibul Bashar, Akram Khan, Alok Kapali, Tushar Imran, Khaled Mashud, Sanwar Hossain, Mohammad Rafique, Tapash Baisya, Manjurul Islam, Tarek Aziz Khan, Talha Jubair.
