Boxing Day Test against India is the pinnacle: Pattinson

Last updated on: December 10, 2011 12:49 IST

Australian pace sensation James Pattinson can't wait for the four-Test series against India [ Images ] later this month as he feels there is no better challenge for him than their famed batting line-up.

"That's the pinnacle, the Boxing Day Test. When I was young I would go every year. So to be out there playing is going to be a dream come true -- if I get the chance," Pattinson said referring to the first Test on December 26.

"And against India -- there is no better challenge than their batsmen," he told Fox Sports.

The 21-year-old Pattinson has had a sensational debut grabbing a five-wicket haul in each of his first two Tests, a feat last accomplished by an Aussie pacer, Rodney Hogg, in 1978.

Several of Pattinson's pace colleagues, including teen sensation Pat Cummins, Ryan Harris and Mitchell Johnson [ Images ], are out of action due to injuries which makes India a bigger challenge for him.
