IPL may be held in May: Jaitley Onkar Singh in New Delhi | March 20, 2009 20:54 IST Bhartiya Janata Party General Secretary Arun Jaitley [Images] told media persons on Friday that the government of India was determined not to allow holding of IPL tournament till the last week of May. "Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh [Images] and Congress President Sonia Gandhi [Images] want to put pressure on NCP chief Sharad Pawar [Images] (a former BCCI chief) and keep him away from throwing his hat in the ring for the prime ministership," said another senior leader of the party.
