Moody rules out England coach job March 05, 2009 22:13 IST Western Australia [Images] coach Tom Moody said on Thursday he had rejected an offer to apply for the job of England [Images] head coach. Former coach Peter Moores was sacked in January after his relationship with the then captain Kevin Pietersen [Images] broke down. "I've been contacted by the head hunters," former Sri Lanka [Images] coach Moody was quoted as saying on the cricinfo website. "I'm not making an application for the job. The head hunters have to produce a list and I'm not going to be on it." Submissions for the England coaching position close on Friday. A spokesman for the England and Wales cricket board said it hoped to have a new coach in place in time for the home Test series against West Indies [Images] in May.
