Chasing 151 runs to win, the visitors ended up at 149 for five in their quota of overs. Brendon McCullum [Images] scored a superlative 61 off 47 balls, replete with five boundaries and two hits over it. But his dismissal, in the first ball of the 19th over, to a spectacular catch by Adam Voges put paid to New Zealand's hopes. Earlier, Australia scored 150 for seven after winning the toss and opting to bat. David Hussey [Images] (41 off 39), Voges (26 off 24) and David Warner (23 off 15) were the significant contributors towards the hosts' total. New Zealand bowlers bowled a tight line and gave the Australians no leeway. And some spectacular fielding added to the Aussies woes.
