McCullum will replace Sourav Ganguly [Images] for the second edition of the tournament, which kicks-off in Cape Town on Saturday.

KKR meet Hyderabad Deccan Chargers in their opening match on April 19.

McCullum's appointment comes in the wake of Knight Riders coach John Buchanan [Images] pitching for multiple captains for the tournament.
