SA tour programme revised, no warm-up game January 30, 2008 22:34 IST South Africa would plunge straightaway into the three-Test series against hosts India without playing a pre-series warm-up game, the Cricket Board announced on Wednesday. As per the revised programme, the South African team will land at Chennai from Johannesburg on March 21 and then take on India in the first match of the rubber at the Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, from March 26-30. The second and third Tests of the series are to be held as scheduled at Ahmedabad (April 3-7) and Kanpur (April 11-15), a BCCI release said. As per the earlier programme the Proteas were to land in Kolkata from Dhaka, at the conclusion of their tour of Bangladesh, on March 15, take a break of a few days in Goa [Images] and reach Mumbai on March 18 prior to the warm-up game against India A at the Cricket Club of India from March 20.
